Genesis ONE isn’t a shelter with staff, offices, and big budgets. We are a hands-on rescue and sanctuary operating directly out of our property, providing full-time care for 20+ dogs every single day — and that doesn’t even include the additional animals in our foster network that we do everything we can to supply food and support for.
Every morning starts with feeding, watering, cleaning, repairs, administering medications, rotating kennels, evaluating behavior, and giving the dogs the attention they need to stay stable. Every night ends the same way. The cost of simply keeping everyone alive, fed, and healthy is massive.
Every animal that comes through Genesis ONE receives:
Some dogs come to us starving. Some come injured. Some come pregnant. Some come terrified, needing weeks or months to decompress before they’re ready for a foster or adoption. Some will live out their entire lives with us if they’re too fragile or too broken to place safely.
We never turn a dog away because their care costs too much. We take the ones who need the most help.
Feeding 20+ dogs alone is hundreds of pounds of food every week. Vet bills never stop — vaccines, surgeries, infections, injuries, chronic conditions, emergencies. Kennel repairs, bedding, cleaning supplies, fencing, medications, transport fuel, intake supplies… it adds up fast.
Your donation directly covers the real, unavoidable costs of rescuing and caring for animals who would otherwise have no chance. There is no middleman and no wasted funding — it all goes to the dogs.
Every dollar you give is immediately converted into food, medicine, safety, and life.
